Hi Pranjal,
Currently, there are only a few colleges and Universities that give admissions under the sports quota:
- DU: Any sportsperson who has represented their country at an international level will be given free entry under the sports quota. Other candidates have to go through rigorous trials.
- SRM University, Tamil Nadu: Candidates have to undergo a trial for admissions under this quota.
- JMI, New Delhi: Candidates should have played at either University, Regional, State or National level. Then, the candidates should undergo trials for admissions.
- Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions and Anna University: Only native candidates are eligible for this quota and admissions are done on the basis of previously-won certificates and medals.
- St. Xavier's College, Kolkata: Candidates should have earned achievements at State/National/International level in the last two years are eligible. Then, a sports trial is conducted.
