One of the most simplest ways to join the Indian Army (Defense Forces) after bachelor’s degree is to sit for the UPSC examination — Combined Defense Service Examination. One can sit for the examination if the age is between 19-24 years and the graduation has been completed. A law graduate with a minimum 55% marks, registered with the Bar Council of India or of the State, can apply for the JAG entry course. In case of the same, one must be around 21-27 years old. The training for the JAG entry provided at Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai.
