Can I join nda because I am a become engineer (civil 2end year) and i want join nda

Hope you are doing well ! If you want to be appear for nda then your age should be more than 16.5 and less than 19.5 if you lies between this age group then start your preparation from now but I think as you are in 2nd year so you have crossed this limit but be ready for other defence exams like afcat,cda etc.

Great that you have put across a question which may help others too like you. Good that you are purusing Civil Engineering and have an interest in Defense Services.

However, you can't join the defense services through NDA as you might not be eligble for NDA as per your age criteria. Yet the good news is you can still go for defense services through UES and TGC modes.

For the UES, your age should be between 18 and 24 years. For applying under this category, you need to be in the pre-final year of your Engineering Degree.

The second mode is TGC, for which tou need to be between 21 and 27 years. Moreover, the qualification required is a BE / B.Tech graduate in any streams of Engineering.
