I will advise you to gor for coaching atleast for practical subjects like Accounting and Tax. You can study theory but practical subjects are tougher than the foundation level. Coaching will help you in saving time and provide you proper guidance as well, so that you will be able to clear the exam and achieve a good rank.

You can study by self of CA subject you need to take some good instuites. The CA is very tough you need to do lot of hardwork to pass in the CA.

So you can't study by your self to get this rank.
