can I prepare for CAT form now.?

You can definitely prepare from now, but you'll do haphazard preparation witj least time left for mock preparation, Still I suggest you to appear for CAT exam as this will boost your confidence in exams like CMAT/SNAP/XAT/ CET. If you're appearing for CAT 2018, you have got ample of time for Preparation.. I recommend you to be dedicated and devote ample of time alongwith atleast 20 mock exams before final CAT exam to score decent marks. Analysis of mock exams and correcting your wrong answers is critical. If you have already started off with Quants preparation and you need higher difficulty level to crack, I suggest go with sarvesh Varma. If you're at just intermediate level, go with Arun Sharma, questions are clear concise and Lucid explanation is given for better understanding of fundamentals and Steps for approach. You can also refer books by nishit Sinha for Quants and Data Interpretation as there are quality numereical problems in this book. For Verbal ability and Logical Reasoning, Just refer TIME Coaching Material.

In the 2 months you are less likely to go in the depth of entire syllabus till the time you are dropped in it completely. You will require minimum 6-8 hours to get the syllabus and revision done on time.

There are tests to be given-sectional and full length and it takes hours to analyse the tests as well.

After every CAT mock test, you must analyse your performance and evaluate your scoring areas.

You must practice a lot so that you can make an instant connect with the question during your CAT exam day. Regular practice with a scheduled stretch will not only help increase your question-solving speed but also make you habituated to sit for three hours.

Then you will have to reminisce all important formulae and equations without any help. This will all need your time and sincere efforts.
