At the very first, you need to thoroughly go through the NCERT books to clear your fundamentals. They are the best books to begin with. After that, you can go for higher level books.
Relying on a single book for the preparation of JEE mains is not recommended. Cengage books are very good for JEE preparation. But each topic in JEE mains is well explained in different books. For example, Inorganic Chemistry by JD Lee is the best book for Inorganic Chemistry.
