Hello jigar,
Yes, you cam attempt both paper of JEE main. But it's count as two attempt.
There are only three attempt is permissible.
Originally every candidate has a maximum of three attempts for JEE Main.Candidates can appear twice for the entrance test in a year.So this is used in correlation with the original number of attempts, from 2019 onwards, JEE Main number of attempts in total will be six.

Yeah, it is your you can write both at one time
However time slots for both shown below.
Paper 1: 9:30Am to 12:30pm ( Btech Courses)
Paper 2: 2pm to 5pm. ( B.arch courses ).
Here, you can give both papers at same day but different slots.such that you can choose for both NITS and B.arch courses.
