Yes you can take your handkerchief with you in exam.
As it is the part of your dress so there will be no issue with it.
But don't try to do something and any unfair meaning during exam.
But sometime some centres do not allow to take anything ( even ring or band in hand) this case is vary rarely to be happened.(if happen than leave it outside ).
So good luck for your exam.
