Can I write GATE twice one for EEE and one for CSE

Dear student,
According to the new rules for gate 2021 you can appear for 2 different subjects in gate in the same year. This year two new subjects have been added Environmental Science and Engineering (ES) and Humanities and Social Science (XS), the total number of subjects has increased to 27. Students in their third year are also eligible for gate 2021. The gate examination will be conducted from February 5-7 and February 12-13.

Dear student,
From this year, as per the rules, a candidate can give two papers of his/ her choice in GATE 2021.
Also you can give gate two times that is in 3rd year and 4th year.
Also it is advisable that you give or choose the first subject of your branch and second as per your choice.
And if you are from cse branch then yes, you can give cse gate 2021 and you have to give EC paper because there is no stream for eee in gate. The students pursuing eee have to give ece gate paper.
And this year there are certain modalities in ec syllabus. So also take a note of this.
