Hello Student,

Yes, root cap can be regenerated in dicots as secondary growth in seen in dicots.

Root cap is formed by calyptrogen in monocots and dermatogen in dicots. These have meristematic activity and can regenerate damaged tissues.

Quiescent Centre present is a central region of cells that normally does not divide. They become active when existing cells are injured.
