Dear Vidushi, if this is about GITAM GAT and CAT, we need to have a background of your academic qualification and your career aspirations. Neverthless, if you meet the eligibility criteria for both the entrance examinations, you can apply for both. But GAT is an entrance examination for admission to Pharmacy, Technology and Architecture programmes of Gitam University like M.Pharmacy, M.Arch . Now considering the fact that you want to also appear for CAT, we would assume your highest qualification to be a Bachelor's degree. (You can correct me in the comments sections). Now CAT is the entrance exam for MBA and other relevant Management studies like PGDM, etc. If you look at the syllabus, CAT has Quantitative Aptitude, VARC and DLR while GAT has subject related syllabus for its entrance examination. So, both are 2 different entrance examinations for 2 different specialisations which mean 2 different preparation strategies. Now, you know your strengths and weaknesses. You have to take a call on what you want to in the near future. But yes, you can apply for both exams at the same time or during the same year.
