Can we do bams and bhms with 60 marks in neet or without neet
Hello Aspirant,
To enroll in BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) or BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) in India. You must qualify NEET to enroll in the course, according to the rules of the Ministry of AYUSH and the National Medical Commission. With 60 marks, you will unlikely qualify NEET to take BAMS/BHMS, as the qualifying cut off is generally higher (approximately 130-140 for general category and 105-115 for reserved categories, though it is different each year).
If you do not qualify NEET, admission to BAMS or BHMS will not be possible, even in private colleges. You can either attempt NEET next year, while having enough time to prepare thoroughly, or search for other degrees in allied health or sciences if you do not want to try and attempt NEET again.
HEY THERE!!!
- With a NEET score of 60, admission to BAMS or BHMS programs is unfortunately out of reach . The minimum qualifying marks for these courses are considerably higher.
- For the 2025 admissions cycle, projections suggest the cutoff for general category candidates falls between 135 and 162, while reserved category cutoffs hover around 105 to 127.
