To get any engineering college you need to qualify minimum cut off but this is not enough if you want to get really good govt engineering college like NIT's,IIT's etc. then you should have very good rank.You need to score 180+ for NIT's and for computer science you need to score 200 marks for general category.Cut off changes every year.Actually rank will be considered for your admission you should have rank below 20000 for non core branch for NIT's for core branch you should have rank below 10K.
