    In terms of participating institutes, CAT scores are accepted by over 100 B-schools across India including 20 IIMs, IITs (Department of Management Studies), NITs, IISc, FMS Delhi, MDI Gurgaon etc. These institutes consider CAT scores exclusively. These are tier 1 institutes whose average package may range from Rs. 10 Lakh per annum (LPA) to Rs. 15 LPA. For CMAT and MAT, several institutes are common, and they all accept CAT scores as well. Some top B-schools accepting CMAT and MAT scores include Great Lakes Institute of Management Gurgaon (CMAT), Goa Institute of Management, BIMTECH Greater Noida, IFIM Bangalore, TAPMI Manipal, IMT Hyderabad to name a few. These institutes range from Tier 2-3 B-schools across India and the average salary may vary from Rs. 5-10 LPA.     The top colleges through CAT are Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi, Delhi Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC) These colleges have an average salary of 18-20 lakh (CTC) per annum. The top colleges through CMAT are Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai Institute for Financial Management and Research, Sri City Prin. LN Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, Mumbai KJ Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research, Mumbai These colleges have an average salary of 6-10 lakh (CTC) per annum. The top colleges through MAT are Xavier Institute of Management Entrepreneurship (XIME) Bangalore, T.A. Pai Management Institute, Christ University These colleges have an average salary of 5-8 lakh (CTC) per annum. CAT has various good colleges which provides overall better compensation
