You need to cover all the topics, very important to clear your Basic concept, Prepare your Notes Join mock test and try to cover all the topics instead of important topics.

Hi, As i have mentioned in below comment: Here are few tips on preparation: 1.Very important is to plan things. 2.Know your syllabus clearly. 3. Work on concepts and give time to them. 4. Collect appropriate notes and study material. 5.Give as many mock tests as possible like Gate Academy and Made Easy-Good for CSE branch. Important topics are Mathematics part and Computer Network. Under Engineering Mathematics important topics are Eigen values and vectors Finding rank and determinant of matrices. Under Differential Equations- First order equations (linear and nonlinear) Cauchy's and Euler's equations Systems of Linear Equations It's really important to stay motivated until end of exam. People usually get carried away after a couple of months and it's very difficult to re-focus. All the Best!
