IIMs have announced that CAT 2017 result will be declared in the second week of January 2018. The expected CAT 2017 Result date is January 7, 2018. The CAT result date is the most important day for the CAT aspirants who have done well in the CAT exam and on the basis of their performance have high hopes to get into one of the top IIMs. CAT 2017 exam result is expected to be declared on January 7, 2018 or in the beginning of 2ndweek of January 2018.

IIMs announce short lists soon after CAT 2017 result

IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta will announce their shortlists immediately after CAT 2017 result declaration. Specific shortlists for GD-PI-WAT round at IIMs will be out immediately after CAT 2017 result is declared.

It can be expected anytime around the first week of January as the date as shared by IIM Lucknow is 7th January.

Some institutes like IITs Schools of Management, NITIE will open their forms after the results while some colleges may reopen their forms after the results. You should apply now as per your expected
percentile.

Well, looking into past few years, CAT'16 was conducted on 4th Dec 2016 and the result was declared on 9th January 2017. So looking into this duration, one month after CAT approximately, is what the anticipated date can be.
The proposed date for result declaration this time is January 7,2018 and will be declared by IIM Lucknow on the official CAT website. Keep tracking it.
