Hey there!
Student need to study at least 5 subjects.
English Core is compulsory.
Core Subjects- Political Science, History, Sociology, Economics, Psychology, Geography, Philosophy,etc.
Optional Subjects- Mathematics, Physical Education,Hindi, Legal Studies ,Fine Arts , Computer,Vocal Music etc.
Subjects for arts totally depends on your school.
You can choose subjects according to your interest and availability of the subject in your school.In some cases , only 5 subjects are taught in schools while in some cases 6 subjects are taught in school.
If you have taken History, Political Science and Economics as core subject.
English core as compulsory subject.
You can take any subject like mathematics, physical education,hindi, computer as optional.
In some schools there are 2 optional subjects.
Important- You can also take core subjects as optional.
