Hey Kartik !
The moderation of the marks near about 56 hasn't been made available for all the students all over India.
The moderation is basically applicable to those students who appeared for their Board 12 Exams from the Delhi region and scored less than 84% in each of the 4 main papers comprising of subjects Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology.
With this moderation, an increase of nearly 11% in the total was achieved.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck !

Hello Karthik,
Yes, CBSE announced that extra 56 marks are given to 12th class students. This are moderated marks and the moderated marks aren't given to all candidates equally. Students who fail the subject will not be granted moderated marks. For others, the total marks in a subject after moderation must not exceed 95. For example, if 10 marks are being granted for a particular subject during moderation and a candidate has scored 89, he/she will be accorded six marks. However, candidates whose original marks are 85 of less will be given all 10 marks.
Hope this answer will helps you.
Thank you.
