For CDS exam you need to have full preparation for general awareness/ general science. And about dynamic current affairs you need to be ready for al least of last two years. They say to prepare for last 1 year but be ready for last 2 years. This will help you lot.

The best I can say is getting the information from newspaper, since what happens is that websites or magazines compile a lot of information, there are also chances of missing out on something.
