The Joint Seat Allocation Authority also known as JoSAA requires certain certificates, The list of required documents for JOSAA counselling are as :

Provisional seat allotment letter
JEE main 2020 scorecard
10th standard mark sheet or date of birth proof
Three passport size photograph
Proof of fee payment by e-challan or internet banking of SBI for seat acceptance
JEE main 2020 admit card
PWD certificate (if applicable)
OCI certificate or PIO card (if applicable)
Printout of filled choices for seat allotment
Category certificate (if applicable)
Photo identity card
12th standard marksheet and pass certificate
Medical certificate
Candidate undertaking

This is an extremely important question. There are a few documents to take care of:

Class 12 ^th Mark Sheet/ Certificate	Class 10th Mark Sheet
Category Certificate (only applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL/ General-EWS) *In the case of the OBC-NCL/GEN-EWS category, the certificate must be issued on or after April 01, 2020*	JEE Main Admit Card
Original Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PwD), if applicable, issued by the competent authority	Crossed Bank Cheque copy / Image of Passbook with bank account details
Medical Certificate (in specified Format available on JoSAA-2020 format)	OCI/PIO card, if applicable
Passport (if applicable)
