TheCommon Entrance Test(CET) is a competitive exam conducted for the purpose of admission of students to the first year or first semester of full-time courses in medical, dental and engineeringcourses in professional colleges the various states of India.
The professional colleges in the state offering such courses are affiliated with the state run universities and admit students through the CET annually. The fee structure varies from year to year.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU CET) for admission to various UG, PG courses offered in the field of engineering, management, law, etc. The admission into UG medical & Ayush courses is done through NEET UG score. Candidates seeking admission in GGSIPU affiliated colleges have to appear and qualify entrance exam for the respective course.
