Chandrayan 3 ke bare me information
Chandrayaan-3 is India’s third lunar mission, launched by ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) on 14 July 2023. Its main goal was to demonstrate India’s capability to perform a soft landing on the Moon.
The mission consisted of two parts:
-Vikram Lander
-Pragyan Rover
Chandrayaan-3 successfully landed on the Moon on 23 August 2023, making India the first country to land on the Moon’s South Pole region and the fourth country in the world to achieve a soft landing (after the USA, USSR, and China).
Objectives of Chandrayaan-3
-To achieve a safe and soft landing on the lunar surface
-To move and operate the rover on the Moon
-To study the lunar soil, rocks, temperature, and presence of minerals
-To understand the South Pole region, which may contain water or ice.
Hope this helps!
