Chemical kinetics first order questions
Chemical Kinetics is a very vast subject and you must mention the level of which you are talking about. Now if you are in class 12th then questions will be simply based on formulas and little bit graphs. If you are in Chemical engineering then there will be a much higher level of questions being asked like reactor design, series-parallel reactions.
For 12 you should be able to solve the NCERT question. You can also take help of previous year JEE Questions.
If you are in Engineering then please follow Chemical Reaction Engineering by Octave Levenspiel. This has very good problems as well as solved examples.
Some sample questions.
1. The pyrolysis of ethane proceeds with an activation energy of about 300kJ/mol. How much faster is the decomposition at 650C than at 500C.
What is the value of t1/2 and derive the equation of rate for first order kinetics and numerical based on these are common questions asked from chemical kinetics first order
