code 5 in NEET-UG 2020 NTA code is for B.Sc undergoing students or for B.Sc 1st year students only??

Code 05 is for 1st year B.Sc students. Code 06 will be for students pursuing 2nd or 3rd year. Code 05 says:

The first year of the three years’ degree course of a recognised University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology including practical tests in these subjects provided the examination is a University Examination and candidate has passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology with English at a level not less than a core course.

There are a total of 7 eligibility codes for students registering for the NEET UG 2020 examination which is being conducted by  the National Testing Agency. A candidate can use code 5 if he/she is currently studying in a the first year of B.Sc. course or any equivalent course which is of duration 3 years. The candidate should have PCB as their main subjects.
