Hello aspirant,

For admission in the undergraduate astronomy courses, various Universities/colleges conduct their own entrance test. One of the entrance test is called KVPY(Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) which provides admission to undergraduate courses offered by IISc.

For doing post graduate in this course one has to give GATE(Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) exam and for doing PhD the candidate has to appear in JEST(Joint Entrance Screening Test).

Hope this helps,

All the Best!!
