Look there are a lot of factors depends on how college is nice or better such as their education system, Infrastructure, lab conditions, Availability of Instruments for the experiments and Placements.
Sometimes city also adds as an advantage the college. For example, Banglore city is also known as the Silicon city of India, the heaven for Computer science engineers and IT engineers. Chennai and Pune are good for Mechanical Engineers as these provide lot of opportunities due to the presence of MNC.
