Compalsary 75% mark will get in 12 I am 70 % so I can join in NITS

For admissions to NITs/ IIITs/ GFTIs: Candidates
need to have secured a minimum75%marks in class XII or equivalent exam or be in the top 20 percentile in their class XII exam conducted by the respective board. and
Candidates appearingfor JEEMain 2017 must have passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics in order to apply. However For admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs & CFTIs candidates must have secured at least 75% in their class 12th board exams (65% for SC/ST students). So you can't join in NITS, don't miss understand

Hello.NITS are one of the premier engineering instititutes in the country.For  Admission in nit you have to satisfy either of the two conditions for class 12-

1.You must be in the top 20 percentile of your respective board.

2.you must get 75% (for general and obc category students) and (65% for sc/st students).

as you have not mentioned your category and board so i request you to check for your category and the top 20 percentile of your board(which will be released around the josaa counselling time) and then decide for your chances of joining an NIT.

No you can't get admission in NIT'S with 70% in your 12th board examination. As per the eligibility criteria of JEE , candidate must have a minimum of 75% in their 12th board examination.

You can try for other engineering entrance examination and state level engineering entrance examination where 75% in 12th is not the eligibility criteria.

You need to have 75% aggregate in your 12th boards as a general category student to get admission in NITs or any other college affiliated to Jee Mains. Now if you  failed to score 75% then either you look for other colleges that doesn't demand jee main score card or give improvement next year to enhance your percentage.
