Computer science engineering (CSE) seat available in 10th pass students

Hello Dear Student,

Yes, after Class 10 , you cannot directly join a B.Tech CSE program. The usual pathway is:

• Complete Class 11 & 12 with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and then take engineering entrance exams.

OR

• Join a Diploma in Computer Science Engineering (Polytechnic) after Class 10.

• Duration: 3 years
• Eligibility: Pass in Class 10 (requirements vary by state/college)
• Admission: Merit-based or through polytechnic entrance exams such as POLYCET, JEECUP, etc.

After completing the diploma, many states allow lateral entry into the 2nd year of B.Tech CSE , reducing the total time required to earn an engineering degree.
