Could we get seat in AIIMS only by scoring 45 percentage for an obc candidate
The cutoff depends on the difficulty of the paper which varies each year, so, it would be meaningless to state the cutoff marks. What matters is the rank."
All of us have read the aforementioned shit MANY MANY times, so finally, here goes the cutoff.
Sadly, the cutoff does vary each year, but from 135 to 140. Therefore, a person getting 135-140 has 50-50 chances to crack the exam. If he gets above 140, he can rest assured that he is getting in, unless the exam is too easy(rare case).
Thus, I PREDICT that 145 is safe, 140 might just get you in. (Please take this prediction with a grain of salt).
As per AIIMS MBBS cutoff 2018, candidates belonging to General Category will berequired to score at least 50% marks in AIIMS MBBS exam, while those belonging to OBC will be required to score at least 45% and SC/ST candidates will berequired to score a minimum of 40% in order to qualifythe exam.
