The Odisha Common PG Entrance Test ( CPET ) 2026 for Geology is mandatory for admission into M.Sc. Applied Geology or Earth Science programs in state universities across Odisha. The application started on February 27, 2026, with a closing date of March 15, 2026.

CPET 2026 Exam Pattern

The exam is conducted in an offline (OMR-based) format. For the 2026 session, the pattern consists of:

• Total Marks: 100 (1 mark per correct answer).

• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for every incorrect response.
