The 70-30 region wise formula for allotting seats in the medical colleges of Maharashtra has officially been scrapped by the state's government.
According to the criteria, 70% seats were reserved for the students in the state's region or district and the rest 30% of the seats were reserved for students of other states. The government has officially scrapped this rule and has declared that the admission will totally be based on the NEET results.
