The subjects and syllabus that you'll study depends on the university under which you will be pursuing your B.E/B.Tech course. Mostly the main subjects are same, but additional subjects like English, Environmental Science or Engineering Ethics may differ for different universities.
Usually, First year subjects are divided into Physics-cycle and Chemistry-cycle. First year syllabus is common for all branches. So half of the branches study physics-cycle in 1st semester and the rest branches study chemistry-cycle subjects. In the 2nd semester you will have the cycle that you didn't study in first sem. In the second semester you will come across one core subject of your particular stream, in your case, it will be c programming.
Mathematics will be there in both the semesters. Other subjects in first year syllabus are Physics, Chemistry, Civil, Mechanical, C programming, Electrical, Engineering Drawing etc.
