I would like to say a few things:

Note that almost every college in India has a separate SC category merit list while taking admissions to their undergraduate courses.
And according to me, I know of no college that gives a student free admission voluntarily only on the basis of their cutoff marks.

Please, Gokul, can you comment below my answer with complete details of the college you are aiming to study in?
