Presidency colleges are the most prominent colleges that offer both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. These colleges are in major cities like Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi.

The cutoff for the marks depends on which branch that you want to join in.
For most popular courses like English, social, political science, chemistry the cutoff is more than 80%
For the language courses or not so popular courses the cutoff is less than 60%
