Hello Taruka

The following criteria will affect the cutoff score for a given NIT:

For safe side you must have a General rank of 40k or below.

NIT's Ranking

2. NIT in your home state or other state

3. Your category (General/OBC/SC/ST/FEMALE)

All these factors affect the cutoff in such a way that the cutoff goes from one thousand two nearly two lacs. To summarise, it is clear that you cannot generalize the closing rank of NITs.
