Hello Gokul,

See, you need not to study the whole subject for GATE. There will be few subjects that you need to study.

Second-year's and third-year's subjects are most important for GATE and very fewer subjects from the first year.

You can go through the GATE syllabus. Mention your branch I will provide you the syllabus.
