Hi aspirant,
I guess your question is in respect to JEE main examination as of your profile but ping me in comments if I am wrong. See if you belong to a reserved category and have the required documents you need not worry even if you have filled JEE main application form as general candidate. Actually at the time of counselling separate registration are done where candidates can upload the required certificates and fill the form accordingly to get the benefits of the same. But make sure to keep all the documents updated and in the correct form so that you do not face any major problems.
