Dear sir,I applied for wbssc tgt English Urdu medium having qualifications 1. Alim degree from Jamia Alia Arabia Mau nath bhanjan up equivalent to 12th (intermediate)based on it 2. B.A. in Arabic from AMU (I studied English 300 marks in B.A. as a subsidiary subject) and (i studied Urdu 50 marks as an elective subject in B.A.) then 3. B.Ed from MANUU (urdu medium) I qualified the exam and called for verification. My question is that during verification process would my candidature be acceptable or may be rejected.
Hello,
From what you have explained, your case looks reasonably strong, especially because you have been called for document verification, which means the board found your application acceptable at the initial stage.
Your Alim degree being equivalent to 12th should not create an issue, since your main eligibility comes from your B.A. from AMU and B.Ed from MANUU, both of which are recognized institutions. Studying English for 300 marks in B.A. generally meets the subject requirement for TGT English, and having Urdu as an elective along with B. Ed in Urdu medium supports the Urdu medium condition.
That said, WBSSC is very strict during verification and the final decision depends on how they interpret subject combination and minimum marks as per the official notification. Since you have cleared the exam and reached verification, rejection is less likely unless there is a technical mismatch in subject eligibility.
Keep all documents ready, and all the best for your verification.
