    By 2018–19, the Ujwal DISCOM Assurance Yojana (UDAY) aims to close the gap between revenue-side supply and cost-side supply by lowering the average technical and commercial loss from about 22% to 15%. Enhancing operational effectiveness through required smart metering, transformer and metre upgrades, etc.
