difference between the larval and adult stage of urochordata
Hi Candidate,
Before coming on to the larval stages, let us know the difference between urochordata and cefalorchordara- The main difference between Urochordata and Cephalochordata is that Urochordata consists of a notochord extended in the head region whereas Cephalochordata contains the notochord in the posterior region of the body.
In the larval stages, the urochordata look like little tadpoles. They can swim and have all of the characteristics of chordates, where as in the adult stages the urochordata become simple organisms.
Hope that this answer helps you. Have a Good Day.
