different between anlog and digital system
Hello,
Analog Signal
- An analog signal is a continuous wave that changes over a period of time, it has no fixed range and is described by amplitude, period or frequency and phase.Human voice is an example of this.
- Represented by a sine wave, this is more prone to distortion and transmit data in the form of waves.
Digital Signal
- It's a discrete wave that carries information in binary form, it has finite number and is described by bit rate and bit intervals.
- The signals that are used for transmission in a computer are digital signal.
- Represented by square waves, this is less prone to distortion.
Hii aspirants
let me clear your doubt.
analog system is a continous wave system in which wave keeps on changing over a given period of time. where as digital signal is discrete in nature. The main difference between alanog and digital system is that analog is represented by sine wave and digital system is represented by square wave.
I hope my answer will help you out
Good luck
