Solution : Given:
P means +, Q means ×, R means ÷ and S means –.
44 Q 9 R 12 S 6 Q 4 P 16 = ?

On replacing the symbols according to the instructions given, the equation becomes –
= 44 × 9 ÷ 12 – 6 × 4 + 16
= 44 × 0.75 – 6 × 4 + 16
= 33 – 24 + 16
= 25

So, 25 is the required answer to the given equation. Hence, the first option is correct.
