Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology which is shortly known as OUAT, The College of Agricultural engineering and technology was established in 1966. CAET-Bhubaneswar is imparting education, research and extension in the field of Agricultural Engineering for more than four decades. It provides highly qualified technical as well as managerial human resources to the public and industrial sector through its B.Tech, M. Tech and PhD Programmes.

B. TECH (Agricultural Engineering)
It is a 4 year degree programme designed to accomplish the needs of growing requirements in agriculture which requires engineering applications like farm mechanization, soil tillage, irrigation and Drainage engineering, micro-irrigation, post-harvest technologies and processing of agricultural and horticultural products for storage, grading and value addition, dairy and food engineering, applications of wind and solar energy, agricultural structures for soil and water conservation, irrigation and drainage and for storage and processing of food grains.
