Hello
The percent should be the aggregate for all 5 subjects.
For admissions to NITs / IIITs / GFTIs :
- Candidates need to have secured a minimum 75% marks in class XII or equivalent exam or be in the top 20 percentile in their class XII exam conducted by the respective board.
- For SC/ ST candidates, the eligibility criteria is to secure 65% marks in class XII or equivalent exam.
For admissions to B.Arch. programmes:
- Candidates need to have PCM mandatorily in their 10+2 or equivalent exam.
- They need to have secured minimum 50% marks in these subjects in aggregate and 50% individually too.
Good luck I hope this helps you
Dear Jyotish,
No, each subject need to not to have 75% marks. It should be the aggregate of all 5 subjects. 75% aggregate is for Gen category candidates, for reserved category candidates, it's 65% aggregate in class 12th or equivalant exam. This percentage of marks is not the eligibility of marks for taking JEE Main or JEE Advanced. The 75% for Gen Cat and 65% aggregate for reserved categories, is the clause for admissions only to NITs/IIITs and GFTIs through JEE Main and to IITs through JEE Advanced.
