hello ,
forensic science cops actually write reports and testify in court. They often work with other law enforcement officials and specialists,they solve crimes by using all of the available information about the case of a crime scene in order to determine who committed it.
they then collect all the evidence and then the information is used by the police and prosecutors to bring a criminal to justice.
mostly, the forensic department do not work on the crime scene, rather they mostly work in laboratories
