Do I need math in 11 and 12 for btech in biotechnology?

bio technology is a field of technical career and if you want to do btech in bio technology it is needed to have mathematics as a subject in 10+2. even if a student want to become a doctor and dont want to learn mathematics its not possible. because in 10+2 in physics and chemistry there is lot of application of mathematics and with out math pure science is not possible. in bio technology stream there are mathematics in three semester, and high end mathematics is used in bio erector design. hope you may understand.

It totally depends on the college in which you are aspiring to do your course of biotechnology as some colleges prefer only mathematics, some prefer both and some only biology. So if you go for NIT or IIT you need to have a good knowledge in maths.
