Do non core branches from IIT have equal job prospects for a student as core branches.

Hello student,
IIT are one of the top institutions in India for engineering. These definitely offer better placement opportunities than other colleges with any branch. But it is not so that non core branches also have equal job prospects as core branches. There is even a difference in placements for Computer Science engineers and civil engineers.
