Do the dates of counselling of AIQ and state quota clash

It depends on the state authorities as to when they choose to conduct their counselling. Usually such encounters are avoided but sometimes the dates of various procedures may overlap. I faced this situation during my admissions wherein the dates of my state counselling and AIQ 2nd round clashed and I had to choose between the two. I chose AIQ as I was quite confident that with my score I would get one of the colleges of my choice.

I suggest that when you put in your options for AIQ, ensure that the colleges you select are better than the best option available to you in your state. Then you must analyze as to with your score where are your best chances. However, getting a seat in any Government institution is a matter of pride and they are all more or less equally eminent.
