Do you know why MIT pune has increased its fees 3 Times

Hi,
MIT Pune is one of the best private engineering colleges across Maharashtra. It has already got/ is soon going to get (I'm not sure which exactly is true) the prestigious status of 'Autonomous Institute'. Autonomous institutes have much freedom in terms of setting their own curriculum, conducting exams, developing infrastructure and much more. With that comes the considerable hike in fees.
Recently IITs and NITs have hiked their fees at least 2 fold...That also might be one of the possible reasons!
