Hello Dear,
Yes, ofcourse a college reputation and name matters a lot in the industry. Every college has its own reputation and image in terms of quality of education and student which is provided in the college. Its always better to choose a reputed and recognised college over a normal college. However, it is not always true that you should go after college name. A college maybe very known but might not provide the best education always. Also this might differ for course you are pursuing.
